NINA ROCCI'S MOST ICONIC PERFUME
L'AIR DU TEMPS by Nina Ricci is a feminine “Eau de Parfum” with floral notes, created to evoke the joy of living and carefree living, and transport us to a free and peaceful world.
This fragrance was created in 1948 by Francis Fabron with the help and supervision of Robert Ricci, the company's founder, who was always involved in the creation and marketing of all its perfumes. This perfume was created after World War II, a time when women dreamed of freedom, of living carefree lives with equality, and this fragrance reflects those desires. This version intensifies the aroma of its notes, allowing us to appreciate their purity.
Its olfactory profile begins with carnation, peach, neroli and Brazilian rosewood as the most prominent notes, which slightly fade to give way and merge with rosemary, gardenia, violet, orchid and other floral notes; finally we find slightly woody and spicy notes, to complete the fragrance.
AROMA OF PEACE. Due to its creation date, it was nicknamed "aroma of peace" by many of its users.
BOTTLE OF THE CENTURY. Its bottle, designed by the prestigious René Lalique, received this title in 1999, due to the two intertwined crystal doves that crown its bottle, and which, to this day, continue to be hand-carved by the firm's glass artisans.
EAU DE PARFUM . This Eau de Parfum version has intense notes, so just a few sprays will keep your skin perfumed all day long. Because it's a fragrance with strong projection and sillage, overdoing it will diminish its fantastic aromatic characteristics.
