Instead, it is designed to activate the colour molecules in hair colour or bleach to create the desired colour result. Due to the low amount of of hydrogen peroxide (1.5%), it's gentle and less damaging to the hair, making it ideal for delicate hair or for colour corrections, as it allows for precise control over the amount of lift and colour deposit.
