The history of the Clarins brand dates back to 1954, when the Frenchman Jacques Courtin-Clarins decided to enter the world of beauty by creating, manufacturing and selling perfumes in a small 9-square-meter store in Paris. Clarins cosmetics is characterized by the use of natural products : treatments based on plant concentrates, thus being able to eliminate active ingredients of animal origin (a practice that was definitively abandoned in 1991).
