Eau de RubyLips by Salvador Dalí is a feminine fragrance of the Floral Fruity olfactory family that the firm launched in 2005 thanks to the perfumer Michel Almairac. It comes presented in an elongated bottle of straight lines with a print lips achievement. The top notes are grapefruit, cotton blossom and lily of the valley, the heart notes are pineapple, magnolia and honeysuckle and the base notes are amber, musk and cedar. It is an ideal fragrance to use on autumn days.
This perfume has something that hooks. In my opinion it is unisex, although they put it as a purely feminine perfume. I don't like unisex perfumes, but this one is an exception. I bought it for its good price without having smelled it before, to be honest; and also because I had smelled another perfume from the brand and it had seemed wonderful: Laguna. When I put this on for the first time, my impression was not good, as I perceived an unmistakable masculine touch. Since I was on vacation and I didn't have another one on hand, I decided that I would use it until I got back, and I have to say that as the days went by I liked it more, which for me is a surprise. I would not be able to define what it smells like in the sense of whether it is floral, watery, spicy, etc. It seems to me that it smells clean, tender, I don't know. It is ideal for hot weather, because it is cool enough and not intrusive. It doesn't stay on the skin for long, but it does on hair and clothes. It is a perfume to use during the day and in everyday situations. It has a personal and original aroma. I love the bottle. It represents very well what he wants to evoke from the perfume: luminosity, freshness, cleanliness. I would repeat without a doubt.
