The Kérastase brand was born in 1964. Its initial objective was to create a line of exclusive products for women's hair care, understanding that not all hair needs the same treatment or the same formulation.
From the very beginning, they relied on renowned scientists, which allowed them to use cutting-edge technology to formulate some patents based on exclusive molecules, which confer beauty and essential hair care.
Over the years, the Kérastase brand was designed as we know it today, offering products sold exclusively in hair salons, which customers could then apply at home.
In the same decade, Kerastase also gained ground with the launch of an exclusive shampoo for men that combated dandruff and hair loss. In the 1980s, the brand welcomed seven new products: revitalising, essential, bivalent, anti-grease, anti-dandruff, bionic and gentle shampoo. In the 1990s, the Nutribase range was launched and for the new millennium, Kérastase encouraged scalp massages in beauty salons, for the well-being of the hair bulb and its growth.
Today, the brand continues to expand its products with more than 24 ranges, offering hundreds of solutions for a universe of hair with different problems.
