THE CREATION

Created by Christine Nagel, Hermès perfumer, the Un Jardin à Cythère Eau de toilette is a surprising garden, neither green nor flowery, but... golden. The expression of an olfactory search through the Peloponnese that leads to Cythera, a protected Greek island that has inspired numerous artists.
OLFACTORY NOTES
The Eau de toilette Un Jardin à Cythère, a citrus and woody fragrance, combines the enveloping character of grasses with the strength of olive wood and the tenderness of fresh pistachio.
THE OBJECT
The bottle, designed by Fred Rawyler, draws inspiration from the lines of vintage car headlights. The glass comes alive with a gradient of luminous yellows, reflecting the sunny fragrance inside. On the packaging, artist Elias Kafouros sketches a colorful landscape of his homeland: golden grass, the green of olive groves, the pink of fresh pistachios, and, in the background, the blue of the sea.
