DO SON by Diptyque is a women's “Eau de Toilette” that is included in the Floral family, launched in 2005 by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin.
DO SON is a city located in Ha-Long Bay, in Vietnam. A heavenly place surrounded by crystal clear waters and green mountains where Yves Coueslant, one of the creators of the firm, spent his summer vacations during childhood. As a tribute to that wonderful time, this perfume was born, evoking the brilliant aromas that nature provided there.
A breeze of fresh air, a marine accord and hundreds of exotic flowers, this is the memory that is embodied in the form of essence. A mist that invades our senses and immediately transports us to the distant Indochinese lands.
DELICACY AND PERSISTENCE . Its wake is formed by an exquisite and meticulous combination of excellent quality raw materials. An impeccable fusion of orange blossom, rose, iris, tuberose, pink pepper, benzoin and musk.
NICHE PERFUMERY . We can include the creations of Diphtyque, within this group of fragrances. Niche perfumes are exclusive essences, which are often not available to everyone, even frequently created to suit whoever requests them. These are distinguished by betting on differentiating for their quality and avoiding any type of media advertising.
PARISIAN ELEGANCE . Its bottle perfectly reflects the sophistication of the French capital. Carved from fully transparent glass, it lets us glimpse its inner essence. On the front, we appreciate the signature emblem, and inside, a dance of letters forms the name of the perfume.
