Learn to distinguish original perfumes from counterfeits by following our tips:
Look at the appearance of the box and packaging . Details are key. In addition to having names very similar to those of the original fragrances (but much more comical), fake perfumes have worse finishes in their presentation and bottle.
Typically, there is a barcode on the bottom of the authentic perfume box that should match the one on the bottom of the bottle. Also pay attention to whether the ingredient list is written in larger letters than usual and where it is made. If it's "made-in-nowhere," be suspicious.
The fact that men's or women's perfumes have cellophane on should not make you lower your guard. It doesn't really mean anything. To wholesalers in the sector like us, we receive many products in packs of 3 sealed ( so the unit may not carry it ) and currently companies are becoming more aware of the plastic issue. The packaging is usually quite well imitated, but what really matters is content. You will notice it as soon as you open it (probably too late because the buyer will have vanished).
The smell in fake perfumes, although in some cases it may be more or less successful, it will always remain for much less time than an original perfume . This happens because imitations tend to do without the "fixers", the most expensive ingredients in perfumes.
These are some of the tricks to differentiate an original perfume from a fake one .
