James Jannard founded the
brand Oakley
in 1975 in the garage of his house in California. He designed his first glasses with a material called Unobtanium and, in a short period of time, he started commercializing number plates, gloves, elbows
and other articles for the BMX and Motocross. In the 80s the brand started introducing itself in the ski market. Nowadays, it has become one of the most successful brands of sport sunglasses
