Colonia: The First Absolutely Italian Colony

Acqua di Parma Cologne is a men's Eau de Cologne belonging to the citrus family. This fragrance, with over a century of history, is characterized by its refreshing notes, which marked a turning point compared to the trends of its time, dominated by intense and voluptuous aromas. Created in 1916, this composition has become a classic icon of perfumery, considered the first Italian cologne, as most of its ingredients originate from Italy.

As the citrus notes settle, the lavender and a touch of rose gently reveal themselves, together with the rosemary, to compose a fresh, serene and balanced aromatic heart, a prelude to the deep notes of vetiver, sandalwood and patchouli that enhance the luminosity of this unmistakably Italian fragrance.
