Determining the quality of the hair and choosing the right straightening cream STRAIT THERAPY
Wash hair with BC Bonacure Deep Cleansing Shampoo and towel dry. Do not massage the scalp.
Apply STRAIT THERAPY Protection Balancer to protect colored and porous areas. Dry the hair gently afterwards.
Wear appropriate gloves. Divide the hair into four equal parts (t-section). Add the estimated amount of STRAIT THERAPY Straightening Cream into a clean plastic container. Start at the nape of the neck taking 5cm wide x 1cm sections and apply STRAIT THERAPY Straightening Cream using a clean brush. Do not apply to the first cm of the root. Distribute the smoothing cream evenly, carefully comb each strand. Maximum application time: 20 minutes. 1 tube (300 ml) of STRAIT THERAPY Straightening Cream usually contains product for 1 or 2 applications, depending on the length of the hair.
Cover the hair with a plastic cap keeping the sections straight. For normal hair use additional heat. Exposure time: 10 to 30 minutes
Once the application is complete, take a test section from the first area of application and check the elasticity. The processing ends when the hair has twice the elasticity of normal.
Rinse with lukewarm water for a minimum of 5-8 minutes (depending on length and amount of hair) until STRAIT THERAPY Straightening Cream has been completely removed.
Apply STRAIT THERAPY Post Balm all over the head, leave on for 1 minute and rinse well with lukewarm water.
Straighten hair by blow-drying with a flat brush. Do not put pressure on the hair.
Iron the hair at a maximum temperature of 180°C. Starting at the nape of the neck, take horizontal sections 5 cm wide by 1 cm and pass the iron without adding pressure. Work each section from roots to ends 5 times until the hair is completely smooth. Always work at a 90° angle. 10. Follow manufacturer's instructions and advise client not to pin hair back or use clips for at least 72 hours after the straightening treatment.
Divide the hair into four parts (t-section). Starting at the nape, take horizontal sections as before. Apply STRAIT THERAPY Neutralizing Milk without applying pressure. Note: Keep sections stretched. When pinning the hair, keep the sections taut and do not apply pressure. Use at least the same amount of STRAIT THERAPY Neutralizing Milk as Straightening Cream. Leave to act for 10 to 15 minutes.
Rinse STRAIT THERAPY Neutralizing Milk well with lukewarm water. Dry the hair with a towel.
For maximum shine, apply STRAIT THERAPY Post Balm. Leave to act for a maximum of 15 minutes and rinse well.
Straighten hair by blow-drying with a flat brush. Do not apply pressure or roll sections of hair. Finish using a straightening iron for perfect results.
