This mythical fragrance was born in 1957, in homage to the legendary elegance of Philippe Mallet, Madame Carven's husband. Mrs. Carven wanted something that did not make man "ointment" and so she thinks about using Vetiver. Carven signed Vetiver is the first Eau de Toilette in the history of perfumery to use this signature root. Carven decided to present it again in 2014, releasing a reissue of this great perfumery classic.
At the top, a sparkling start where bergamot is enveloped by the juicy freshness of grapefruit. Lemon mixed with Citronella illuminates the fragrance causing a striking dynamism. At the heart, the intensity of Geranium exacerbated by Lavender reveals a masculine note pushed by the spicy accents of Nutmeg. The timeless Orange Blossom brings a veil of sweetness that reveals a harmonious heart. Deep down, the warmth of Cedar combined with the unctuous facets of Sandalwood naturally marry Benzoin. The Vetiver dresses everything with a virile sensuality, signing an intensely masculine and addictive outfit.
