NGO of June, Hadas Kids Foundation is leaving… summer camp!
Who are the Hadas Kids Foundation?
The Hadas Kids non-profit Foundation helps boys and girls at risk of social exclusion, is located in Palma de Mallorca and deals with a program of care for children and families who need support, either for reasons of vulnerability, social exclusion or family conciliation , giving comprehensive care to boys and girls from 3 years to 13 years.
What do they do in their day to day?
The task with the children begins at 1:30 p.m. with the dining room service for those who need it, offering them food (also to mothers who request it).
Around 3:30 p.m. they start with school reinforcement , they separate the children by age and level, and the educators are in charge of giving them support in the daily homework and in the subjects that cost them the most.
All these daily routines are also complemented by visits to museums, parks, movies, among other activities that these children do not have access to.
In summer the routine changes , they try to make summer days as special as for any other child. The collections they make throughout the year are used to finance this type of special activities and thus give them the best childhood.
What do they need the collection for?
On this occasion they need our help and support to be able to take 70 boys and girls to a camp called HipoCampo , located in Espinagar and to be able to offer them the opportunity to enjoy two days of summer camp (August 1 and 2) to children who do not they would have a chance . The total cost of the camp is €1,726 for 70 children and 10 monitors. Do we help them to ensure that these children enjoy a summer like any other child?
